BhringrajBenefits, how to use & safety
The king of hair herbs in Ayurveda.
What is Bhringraj?
Bhringraj, whose name means 'ruler of hair', is a herb central to Ayurvedic hair oils. It is traditionally used for hair growth, scalp cooling and premature greying, though modern evidence is still developing.
How it works
Animal studies, including a well-known mouse study, found bhringraj extract promoted hair follicle growth. Human trials are scarce, so it should be seen as a supportive scalp oil rather than a guaranteed regrowth solution.
